Hi! Salaam! 안녕! Salut!

I'm Tirzah, or ترزہ, or תִּרְצָה.

I’m an urban planner with interests in community-led planning, mobility justice, and speculative, long-range planning. I've engaged Marylanders around equitable community development, designed a restorative linear park adjacent to a salt marsh in Revere, and humanized a roadway design evaluation in Philly. My professional background in political and advocacy design informs how I translate complex policy and data into accessible visual and planning tools.

I have a Master of Urban Planning from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design with a concentration in transportation & infrastructure. Before graduate school, I mobilized voters through design at the Democratic National Committee, and helped progressive candidates win elections at Winning Mark.

At the moment, I'm most interested in fulltime community and transportation planning opportunities, but I'm also open to collaborations, research opportunities, freelance work, and anything cool you might be cooking up.

Want to work with me? I'm already excited. Shoot me an email and let's talk.
